Meet Mama
I've been a mom for 30 years and a gamer for much longer.
My gaming journey started with Atari, Pong, and even a Commodore 64. Later came Nintendo, Tetris, Super Mario Bros., and countless hours spent playing arcade games like Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat.
In 1995, I got my first Windows computer and discovered pc gaming. It was a point-and-click adventure called Phantasmagoria, and to this day it remains one of my favorite gaming memories.
Years later, gaming became something even more meaningful when my daughter and I started playing together.
Like many kids, she quickly surpassed me. When we started playing Halo, she named my character "Meatshield" and often used me as multiplayer bait. She would send me charging into danger while she waited to see where the enemy would attack from. It was surprisingly effective.
Then Mortal Kombat arrived, and the tables turned.
Let's just say I won enough matches that she eventually posted on Facebook:
"WTF Mom? Who knew mom was such a pro at Mortal Kombat?"
From there, gaming became a lifelong hobby we shared together. We moved on to online games, MMORPGs, shooters, survival games, and just about everything in between. Along the way, I discovered that gaming wasn't just about the games themselves. It was about the people.
Over the years, gaming has introduced me to wonderful communities and friendships that have lasted years. One young woman in one of our gaming groups was usually very quiet in voice chat, but whenever I joined, she became more talkative. When someone asked her why she only talked when I was around, she simply replied:
"Mama is my safe person."
To this day, I think that's one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about me.

Hi, I'm MamaMayhem.
Most people just call me Mama.
A Few More Things About Me
When I'm not gaming, I work full-time in software and hold multiple industry certifications. I love technology, science fiction, animals, and all things nerdy.
I currently share my home with three dogs and have owned six horses over the course of my life.
I'm a good listener, naturally encouraging, and I genuinely enjoy helping people feel comfortable and included.

Why Your Mama Games?
Gaming has given me friendships, memories, laughter, and countless opportunities to connect with the people I care about.
Your Mama Games is my way of sharing that experience with others.
Whether you're looking for a gaming buddy, a fellow adventurer, or just someone to share a virtual world with for a while, you're welcome here.
Gaming is better when it's shared.
